oft times when an event occurs, we tend to focus on the person that is experiencing said occurrence. very rarely do we get the opportunity to see or hear the perspective of those connected. it’s important that these narratives are shared; especially with HIV. HIV does not just affect and effect those diagnosed. it’s impact is felt through the entire village. I would have been remised without dedicating space for my tribe. it is my hope that this dedicated space educates and shift perspectives.
so, here are their experiences. may they enrich, encourage and embolden.
